MultiIFAX multi-loop System
MultiIFAX combines the attributes of the latest generation of Apollo Discovery detectors with advanced processing features to provide a detection and alarm system of unrivalled performance and false alarm resistance.
To ensure the best possible detection performance and property protection, flexible ‘Day/Night’ mode changes can be made. These can be based on time of day, user operation at the control panel or conditional switching (e.g. BMS or intruder alarm settings).
In addition MultiIFAX is fully compatible with XP95 Analogue Addressable Detectors, Loop Powered Sounders, Beacons and all other interface devices and allows comprehensive cause-and-effect definition.
- Up to 126 devices per loop - In addition to 126 addressable devices, a Multi Alarm GB Platform Sounder can be fitted to each detector without using an address
- From 2 to 16 loops - Modular expansion
- Up to 14 Full Function Remote Control Panels - All controls, indicators and displays are duplicated on compact Remote Control Panels that can be installed at key points throughout the building
- Up to 32 IFAX panels can be networked - To form a high-integrity and “seamless” peer-to-peer network
- Loop or Radial Wired Detection Circuits - When upgrading a non-addressable system the existing wiring can usually be reused, saving costs and disturbance of the building fabric
- Individually Programmed Outputs - Relays or Sounders can be programmed to react from individual detectors, zones or sectors
- Delayed Outputs - Relays or Sounders can be programmed to operate after a given time to allow the cause of the alarm to be investigated before calling the fire brigade or evacuating the building

- Customised Menus - Menu items can be programmed to carry out a sequence of commands in order to simplify user operations
